Thank You, Arabah Joy!
Life has been extremely difficult on all levels for several years now, and I'd reached a point where I had only the slightest, fraying thread of faith left. This in spite of trying as hard as I could to do all the things a "good" Christian is supposed to do. Then, I saw Arabah Joy's book on trust and began reading. And reading. It's written in bite-sized chapters to be a daily devotional, but I couldn't stop reading. She writes powerfully and honestly about trying to be a Christian in the middle the messiness of life, and somehow manages to inspire & re-energize readers to raise their sights, minds, & emotions to Christ instead of becoming overwhelmed by life's stresses & hardships. She knows her Bible well and chooses excellent, often lesser-cited scriptures to support her points. She includes some exercises which seem simple and yet were powerful enough to restore a good amount of my trust in God. I've reread it multiple times, and several points have stuck with me and continue to help me make fundamental shifts in my faith in God.

An excellent devotional you can pick up and put down at any time. It's unsequential. So far every single story or devotional has spoken to me and helped. Seems like the writer has experienced some of the same things most people have in their faith journey, yet found in Christ a way to overcome and share the way to succeed. Each day is a short read, so it doesn't take too much time.

This book came to me and helped me through some difficult times. Each day is a new and inviting story filled with good Godly advice and truths. I know this is a devotional but once I started reading I couldn't put it down and read it straight through in 2 days (instead of 40). I have often shared the truths I learned in this book with others and find them to be helpful to me in my own life too. I highly recommend this book to anyone whether you are experiences doubts in your walk with God or not.
A beautifully written daily read
This devotional is for everyone; see all need to live in trust without borders in this world. Arabah Joy gets to the heart of it in each selection. Great to read in order or just open up to one. This is one I will come back to many times.

I happened across this devotion and am so glad. I've done a wide variety of devotionals and small group studies including Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, Priscilla Shrier, and others. This devotional will dig deep, bring spiritual truth, and is profoundly strengthen your scriptural basis for trusting God at His word. The author presents you an opportunity to walk through the issues we all face as she walks them herself. Very real and beautifully done.
